Sound familiar?
Most people come to us with questions, not a clear finish line.
Here are some of the most common ones and how we help answer them.
-
“I have super, investments and property, but I’m not sure it all fits together.”
Doing lots right but struggling to see the big picture?
We start by getting to know your life, then put your super, investments, cash flow and plans on one map. That way you can see where you are and what’s worth adjusting. -
“How do I know the advice isn’t being driven by a product or commission?”
If you’re looking for advice that’s proudly independent by design, you’ve landed in the right place. We don’t take commissions, we don’t push products, and our fees aren’t a percentage of your money. You pay for the advice and the value it adds to your life, so our only job is to do what’s best for you. -
“Super, tax, investments, insurance... it’s a lot to get my head around.”
You shouldn’t need a finance degree to understand your own plan. Everything is explained in plain English, so you understand your options and feel sure of the decisions you make. -
“Markets, interest rates, headlines – should I be doing something?”
Despite what some people might say, nobody can predict what the markets will do tomorrow – and that’s okay. Your investments are built on research into how markets behave over time, so your plan doesn’t need to change every time the headlines do. -
“Do I have enough? What can I spend? What happens if markets fall?”
This is the question we hear most. You’ll see your retirement modelled in real time, testing different ages, spending levels and market conditions, so you know how long your money is likely to last and what you can comfortably spend on the things that matter to you. -
“Career, family, inheritance, or helping parents – I need to understand what this means for me.”
Things like an inheritance or a change in your family can shift your priorities. We help you understand your options and adjust your strategy so you stay on track.

At Simplivia Wealth, we believe good financial advice should make life feel easier.

We're based in beautiful Newcastle and work with clients across Australia.
Who we help best
Financial advice is often designed around how much money you have. We’d rather focus on you: your plans, your family and your future.
01
Planning for retirement
When retirement is 10 to 15 years away, the questions start to feel more important. Are we on track? What will we actually need? Should we be doing anything differently? We’ll look at your situation and your future goals, then outline the steps to get you there. If you have an SMSF, or a public service or military super scheme, you’ll want an adviser who knows the rules inside out. These are areas we specialise in.
02
Living in retirement
Once you retire, you’re no longer building your savings – you’re relying on them for decades. We help you work out how much you can spend with confidence, and how your super can best support you. As the terrain changes, we stay with you and adjust the plan, so you can enjoy retirement without second-guessing every decision.
03
Supporting your family
Some of the most important financial decisions involve the people we love: helping children into their first home, planning how wealth will pass down to younger generations, or organising aged care for a parent. We help you get your bearings, then work through each decision with you, coordinating with your accountant and lawyer where needed.

How to get started
There’s no pressure to commit to anything up front. We’ll take the time to understand your life properly first, so you can decide whether working together feels right.
1. Saying hello
2. Understanding what matters
Discovery meeting – around an hour, in person or online
This is where we get the full picture: your goals, your family, what’s worrying you and what you’d like the years ahead to look like. We’ll ask plenty of questions and listen carefully, because this is what your advice will be built on.
3. Mapping the way forward
Introductory call – 15–20 minutes
A short, relaxed phone conversation. Tell us a little about what’s prompted you to reach out, and we’ll explain how we work. Together, we’ll see whether it makes sense to keep talking.
Strategy discussion – around 45 minutes
We’ll talk you through the options worth exploring and how we could help. Only then do we talk about working together and what it would cost.
All three conversations are complimentary, with no obligation to go ahead.
Wherever you’re starting from, let’s talk.
Tell us what’s on your mind, and we’ll take it from there.
